Tennis Elbow Can Happen to Anyone

“Tennis Elbow” is a painful condition that can occur even to those who have never picked up a racket. Overuse, or any repetitive motion that uses the tendons on the outside, or lateral part of the elbow can cause it.

Symptoms usually involve pain or sensitivity on the outer edge of the elbow that gets worse when you grip or try to lift something. It’s often seen in people aged 30-50 but can occur at any age and affects both men and women.

Dr. Zimmer recently explained both tennis and golfer’s elbow on Spotlight 5 with News 5 Cleveland.
